These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PremiumAccess (the "Service"), operated by PREMIUM ACCESS LIMITED ("PremiumAccess," "we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
PremiumAccess operates a digital eBook store and reading library: a curated catalogue of digital books across multiple genres, read on-site through our web reader. Access is granted by time-limited reading passes that unlock the whole library for their duration. Individual, per-title eBook purchases may be offered when enabled.
2. Eligibility
The book store is open to readers of any age. You may create an account, hold a reading pass and read titles in the on-site reader without an age restriction. Where you are a minor, your parent or guardian is responsible for your account and any purchases made through it.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, transferred, or used by more than one person. We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe are being shared or used to redistribute content.
4. What You Can Buy
4.1 Reading passes Reading passes unlock the entire book library for a fixed period:
- 7-day pass — $14.99
- 30-day pass — $19.99
- 365-day pass — $99.99
Passes are one-time payments. They do not auto-renew and will not recur unless you actively purchase again. When a pass expires, library access ends until a new pass is activated.
4.2 Individual eBook purchases Individual, per-title eBook purchases are **planned but not currently available**. When they are enabled, the following will apply: a purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read that title through your account for as long as we offer the Service; purchases are not resale, and no ownership of the underlying work transfers to you. Where a title is offered as a download, the download is for your personal use only.
5. Payment Status and Free Activations
Card payments for reading passes are processed by third-party providers (Stripe or TagadaPay). We do not store full card numbers.
- Any reading pass may be activated free of charge for 7 days as a trial, where offered.
- Free activations are limited to one per pass type, per account.
- Free activations are a courtesy, carry no purchase rights, and may be limited, withdrawn or revoked at any time, including in cases of abuse or multiple-account creation.
The prices shown at the point of purchase apply, plus any taxes required in your jurisdiction.
6. Licence and Permitted Use
All content on the Service — books, covers, images, text and design — is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by copyright and other laws.
Subject to an active entitlement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and read that content for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not: copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, mirror, resell, sublicense, or distribute any content; circumvent access controls or paywalls; use the content to train machine-learning models; use the content in any commercial or classroom setting; or share your account or screenshots of paid content publicly.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure; interfere with or overload the Service; use automated tools to extract content; misrepresent your identity; or use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud or credential sharing, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund of remaining pass time.
9. Availability and Changes to Content
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Titles may be added or removed from the library as licensing and catalogue decisions change.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, suitability for any particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content will produce any particular learning or other result.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PREMIUM ACCESS LIMITED and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PREMIUM ACCESS LIMITED and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party right.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on the Service with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PREMIUM ACCESS LIMITED is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
